Oceanside is conveniently located in
between downtown San Diego and Los Angeles and features
over 3.5 miles of some of San Diego’s widest, white
sandy beaches and is home to the longest wooden pier
(1,900 feet) on the West Coast. Oceanside is popular for
the many activities available and its close proximity to
Legoland, Wild Animal Park, Disneyland and Temecula Wine
Country.
Oceanside Beach is a great place for
beach walks, pier fishing off Oceanside Pier, building
sand castles, bonfires on the beach at night, roller
skating or bicycle riding along The Strand, and watching
the Grunion (little fish) lay eggs at midnight. When
you're ready to come up from the beach.
Oceanside has lots of attractions within walking
distance: A wonderful public library, museum and art
gallery, surf museum, movie theater complex with
restaurants and ice cream parlor, Farmer's Market, bike
path along the San Luis Rey River. The historic landmark
Mission San Luis Rey is 10 minutes away.
Our vacation rentals are located at Oceanside Beach,
which is one of the nicest beaches in San Diego North
County. Swim, boogie board, surf, and sunbathe right
outside the condo complex. Relax, stroll, look for
seashells on the life guarded beach, and watch the
dolphins frolic in the surf. Enjoy the one of two
beautiful swimming pools and Jacuzzis, and community BBQ
area, surrounded by lush tropical grounds, koi ponds and
waterfalls.
Our Oceanside beach rentals are only a short block from
Oceanside Harbor, where you can rent watercraft: Kayaks,
jet skis, sail boats, go on whale watching cruises, and
take fishing party boat excursions. Surfing lessons are
also available from several different local surf
schools. At the harbor, you will find a variety of
casual & fine dining, as well as several quaint gift
shops.
Most major theme parks and attractions are within a one
hour drive of the complex: World Famous San Diego Zoo
and Wild Animal Park, Disneyland and California Great
Adventure, Seaworld, Tijuana, Scripps Aquarium, Knotts
Berry Farm, a variety of championship golf courses, and
Temecula Wine Country.
